Omaha, NE


We drove to Omaha for 2 days to meet up with my friend Barbara and go to the zoo.   What a nice trip we had!

QFT - Quality Family Time

We went to Mom & Dad's house again this year for a BBQ.  It was a nice evening and everyone enjoyed catching up and spending time together.

I love when we are all together!

Grandma Laura and Loren were here to visit for two weeks and we were blessed to spend a week at the lake with them.  We played, splashed, landscaped, ate, and shopped...and loved every minute of it!

"Hi"

Yesterday we were on our way to church.  We passed through town and were just talking about our day.  Once we got on the highway Scott got a phone call from one of his football players who just graduated.  

He called and said,  
"Coach, you didn't you say hi to me?!"   ...because we didn't see him and didn't wave when we passed him as we drove through town.  

LOL - I LOVE this about living back in the midwest.  

Everybody waves at EVERYBODY!  

It's an important form of communication that I absolutely LOVE!
