April...

Oh, Blog how I have missed you! We had a very busy spring and then our school year ended. The end of the school year is always exciting and it brings LOTS of work to be done. Needless to say, I am very behind on blogging and am now ready to get caught up.

Here goes...

Grandma Laura and Loren were here to visit in April. We spent two nice, long weekends with them at the lake. It is always so nice to spend time with them. We will be seeing them again in July when they come back for a summer visit. Yay! We can't wait!

Easter...

Happy Easter...we hope you all enjoyed a wonderful day! We had a very nice day...we went to church, grocery shopped, came home for afternoon naps / yard work, and then enjoyed a nice dinner and relaxing evening.

I just realized this is the last day of the month...and I must blog before the month ends!

We have had lots of Easter fun in the past couple of weeks.

We went to our community Easter egg hunt at the park...Mack had a blast!

We went to an Easter party at one of Mack's friends' house and really enjoyed the day in great company and good fun.

Last week we had a little more snow...and enjoyed another snow day at home. The guys played outside and had a blast.

The boys built an igloo...it was pretty awesome...

This morning was very entertaining and exciting as Mack discovered goodies that the Easter Bunny left.

We are looking forward to spring and the beautiful weather it will bring!

Snow days...

are AMAZING!!!

We moved to the Midwest last year and didn't get a single snow day. We were so disappointed. This year has lived up to our expectations. We dismissed early on Thursday. Snow day Friday (which made for a nice, long weekend)! We went to school on Monday. Snow day today (Tues.) and tomorrow (Wed). HIP HIP HOORAY! I love random days at home. We get a little DIY home improvement time AND laundry gets done in the middle of the week....AND it gets put away...miracles really do happen!

DIY - Today Scott helped me convert my over the stove cabinet space - I LOVE IT!

Last weekend Scott was in St. Louis for a football coaching clinic, Mack and I enjoyed some time at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Valentine's Day was as fun as all holidays - Mack keeps our excitement high.

4th birthday

Mack turned four on Wednesday. Wow!...Where does time go?! He is such a great boy. He is happy, kind, loving, stubborn, independent, smart, & funny. (Hilarious!) He loves to read, count, play, sing, dance, relax, build, & create. Scott and I thank God everyday for giving us this amazing gift, our son, Mack.

We had birthday donuts and strawberry milk that morning as he opened his gifts.

We had Mack's birthday party yesterday. We were all blessed to spend the day with family and friends. What a wonderful day! Mack had a blast and really enjoyed himself.

year's end...

Since I haven't blogged in forever, I am racing to get it done tonight before the beginning of the new year. I can't believe 2012 is coming to a close. It has been a great year and we are looking forward to all that 2013 brings. We wish you the best and are thinking of all of our family and friends!!
