Teeth...

Teeth, are they really THAT important?  Of course they are, I'm just glad we don't have memory of their arrival.  Mack is getting more teeth ...aaagghh!!  It is a real pain - for all of us!  Yesterday was a tough day for him - fever, pain, the whole works.  He was much better this evening, thank goodness.

An afternoon @ the park :)

Mack insists on being outside as much as possible.  He will get his shoes and bring them to Scott or I.  Then he will push on the back of our legs to the door and bang on it when we get there...too cute.   He also really enjoys reading books right now - this is one of my favorite activities.

* cool guy *

   absolutely adorable!!

We will be making a trip to Iowa on May 26th.  If anyone is available and would like to get together let me know.  We hope to see lots of family and friends!

See you soon!

Beautiful weather...

We had a BEAUTIFUL weekend!  Our weather was amazing!  Thank goodness for that because Mack is such an 'outside' boy!  He is happiest to be running around & playing...or just sitting in his little lawn chair.  As you can see he is already a fan of sitting in trees - so cute!  He and the boxers continued to enjoy the bubbles, I'm not sure who enjoys them more.

Just hanging out in the tree!

Check out these eyes... This is the look we get when Mack knows he is doing something he shouldn't or when Scott or I tell him "no".

Mack has had a very sore bottom and took a few oatmeal baths in the kitchen sink this week.  He absolutely loved it - we may have to do this more often!

Mack loves sunglasses!
He wears whatever pair he can find.

Bubbles

Doesn't everyone love bubbles?  Everyone at our house does!  My love for bubbles has gotten a little obsessive... and expensive.  Last weekend we bought 2 bubble blowing guns and a bubble mower for Mack.  I was so excited because I vividly remember my brother and I playing with our bubble mower and how much we loved it.  However, all my efforts were futile - both bubble blowing guns just dribbled a soapy mess out of the end.  As for the bubble mower, I practically had to run with it to produce any bubbles - what a dud!  Needless to say, I will be returning the bubble mower.

This morning I was running errands and found a bubble blowing machine that promised thousands of bubbles in minutes.  You can imagine how excited I was. It was a big hit - Mack loved it and so did the boxers!!

 Bubbles Galore!!

Scott and Mack have been doing pull-ups at home after school.  During the day Mack does push-ups with Patrick while he is at our baby sitter, Anna's, house.  He will be stronger than the average bear! ;)

On weekends Mack is practicing his 3-step drop out front in the cul-de-sac!

Spring break

It is really amazing how spring break comes just in time each year.  Scott and I were just talking about how much we appreciate this time off school - we are not traveling, just going to enjoy a week with nothing pressing to do.  Our weather has been weird w/ all the rain and windy days we have been having.  We are looking forward to some beautiful days playing outside with Mack and the boxers.  It is supposed to get cool and rainy again on Thursday but we will make the most of it!

We had family pictures taken Saturday morning and I am excited to share them.  Mack was unusually somber - it was tough to get a smile from him, but we still got some great pictures.  He is getting more teeth and I am sure that is tough!

Mack LOVES eggs!!...

 More eggs...

               Have a great week!

                  Happy Easter!

Busy week...

        GO
 PANTHERS !!

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes this week... I had a blast!! Anna kept Mack so Scott and I could go out.  (Thanks Anna!) We celebrated St. Patrick's Day by going to our first happy hour in over a year.  We continued the fun at a local Irish pub with friends from school.  Scott spoiled me with a massage @ Cesars Palace!!  I am so excited to go.  He also got me the Shark Navigator and Shark steam mop...I am truly looking forward to cleaning my floors! (I'm sure my enthusiasm will wane eventually.)

This morning Mack and I went shopping at Target - we had a good time.  He sure makes my shopping trips more entertaining.  For lunch Mack decided to try to eat his strawberries and blueberries with a spoon...too cute!  At least he kept the food on the plate and the plate on the table!! :)

This afternoon we went to Finley's 3rd birthday party.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY FINLEY!! We had a good time celebrating with the Huggins family.  We also enjoyed watching the Panthers big win today!

Mack really loved running around with the big kids!  As you can see Sutton and Mack had fun with the sidewalk chalk.

This our last week of school and then we are off the following week for spring break....YIPPEE!!!!

Camping was postponed...

We had planned to go camping in Death Valley Saturday but temperatures dropped and it got really windy - so we decided to just stay home. We will try again during spring break.  Instead we hung out and went to the mall Saturday afternoon.  On Sunday, Scott got up early and let me sleep in...it was so nice and greatly appreciated! (Thanks, Scott! I love you!)  In the afternoon we went over to our friend's, Joe & Jenny, to grill out.  It was a beautiful afternoon.  Now, we are watching The Replacements and mentally preparing for the upcoming week.  :)  Mack is ready for a bath and getting sleepy.

I love this picture!

Mack & Friends...

We had a GREAT weekend! Sutton and Finley spent the night at our house Saturday night. We had a blast! Sutton and Scott played video games while Mack tried to change the channel. Finley brushed my hair and made me beautiful. :0) It is so funny to watch Mack interact with older children...he just watches for awhile and then tries to copy what they do. It is amazing!

Mack's buddy, Tiernan, joined us late Sunday morning while his mom and dad went to the Nascar race. Sutton still had Scott playing video games. Finley played mother to the 2 little boys...so cute!

Tiernan and Mack are so similar. They do EXACTLY the same things! I was changing Mack's diaper and Tiernan was poking him in the eye and trying to stick his finger in Mack's mouth. Then when I changed Tiernan, Mack was poking Tiernan's eyes and mouth. They still play seperately but like to see what the other is doing.  We had so much fun!!

This is the main attraction at our house...

...for whatever reason, the kids all like to play in the dog crate.   Hilarious!! ;)
